Rose N. Chastain

Rose Chastain passed away on November 28, 2024. She was 85 years old. Rose was the devoted wife of Del Chastain, the proud, dedicated, and supportive mother of 2 children and 2 grandchildren. 

Rose’s greatest love was her family, who were all very blessed to have her in their lives. In addition, she loved animals, music, reading, traveling, the beach, and just being with her family. She worked in the security office at Carlisle Barracks and retired after many years of dedicated service. 

Rose is survived by her sister Mary, her husband Del, her daughter Patty, her son Charles, her granddaughter and son-in-law Jenn and Sumit, and her granddaughter Shannon. 

They invite you to join them for a homegoing service. The service will be 2:00 pm on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Hoffman’s Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA, with burial following at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, 343 McClure’s Gap Road, Carlisle, PA. A visitation will be held from 1:30-2:00 pm at the funeral home.
