Ronald Carl McGuire, 63, of Carlisle PA, departed this world on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at his brother and sister in law’s home.
He was born June 20, 1960, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, to the late Reverend Charles L & Gladys R McGuire.
Ronald was a graduate of Basset High School, Basset, VA. He attended Bluefield College, Bluefield, West VA, with an associate degree in general studies. Ronald loved to play baseball and was a pitcher for his high school years. He loved to bowl with many leagues in Carlisle. He bowled with friends and family, his son, brother, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Vickie Lee (Stimeling), a sister, Linda J. McGuire; and a brother-in-law Kirk Stimeling. He is survived by his daughter, Melissa (husband Phil) Bell, of Carlisle, PA; a son Christoper McGuire, of Carlisle, PA.; four grandchildren, Alexis, Lacy, Amelia, and Tony; four brothers, Russell (wife Teresa) McGuire, of Bessemer, AL., Leonard (wife Pamela) McGuire of Carlisle, PA, Charles “Chuck” McGuire, of Chambersburg, PA, and James (wife Brenda) McGuire of Chambersburg, PA; Sister, Carol (husband James) Megginson, of Faber, VA; 2 brothers in law: Joseph A. (wife Peggy) Stimeling, and Jeffrey Fahnestock; sister-in-law, Tonya (husband Donald) Schlosser; and many nieces and nephews who he loved so much.
Graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Westminster Memorial Gardens 1159 Newville Road Carlisle, PA 17013.
