On Thursday November 14th, 2019 Ronald Giroux, loving husband and father, passed away at age 80 at home surrounded by his family. Ron was born in Waterville, Maine to the late Fernando and Doris Giroux. He attended Husson College in Bangor, Maine where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Although flying was his passion, his wife Ellen of 59 years, was the center of his life. They enjoyed family time at the lake house in Maine, playing golf together, and traveling.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Ellen and their children, Suzanne Porter, David (Lei Lonni) Giroux, Deborah Giroux, Elizabeth Giroux, and Amy (Scott) Beaver. Ron will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren and great grandson: Katelyn (Sean) Tucker, and great grandson Conor. Grant Zartman, Tim (Claire) Porter, Eric Zartman, Mackenzie Porter, Emma Van Wickler, Abigail Beaver, William Van Wickler and Samuel Giroux. He is also survived by his sisters, Jean (Mack) Dolowitz and Linda (Travis) Scogin.
