Ronald Clare Carr

Ronald Clare Carr, 60, of Carlisle, died Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Hospital.

Born in Petersburg, WV, he was the son of Steven and Kay Alexander.

Ron was a nature and animal lover. He liked to fish and hunt and had two lovebirds, Sandy and Blue. He also had made friends with many deer that wandered onto his property. He also liked big rig trucks, video games, TV and other electronics, watching wrestling and NASCAR.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers: Robert Carr (Missy), of WV, Rodney Carr (Sheri), of Shippensburg; his nephew: Chris Carr (Nathusa) and his niece: Catie VanMeter (Austin), all of WV as well as several great nephews and nieces.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Farewell Gathering 11:00 am Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, where Rev. Rick Runyan will be officiating. The family will greet guests after 10:30 am prior to the service. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
