Romaine M. White

Romaine M. White, 85 of Carlisle, died Wednesday August 29, 2012 in her home.
Born May 18, 1927 in Carlisle, the daughter of the late Carl T. Sr. and Ela Lamma Marston and the widow of David White.
Romaine was an active member of Good Shepherd Community United Methodist Church, Carlisle and was involved in many of the churches activities and committees, her hobbies included sewing, quilting and cooking. She retired from Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as a cook.
Surviving are four children, Donald Weibley and his wife Shirley, Shermans Dale, Carol Weibley, Carlisle, Sherry Short and her companion Matthew Shue, Carlisle and Robert White and his wife Kimberly, Carlisle, two sisters, Peggy Marston and Nancy Stone, both of Carlisle, a brother, Carl T. Marston Jr., Carlisle, ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Weibley, a brother, Douglas Marston, a sister, Helen Marston, two grandchildren, Jennifer Short and Leslee Weibley.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday September 5, 2012 in the Good Shepherd Community United Methodist Church, 2135 Ritner Highway, Carlisle. There will be a viewing from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle and from 10:00 am Wednesday until the time of the service in the church.
