Romaine M. Shadle

Romaine M. Shadle, 83, of Carlisle, died Monday, December 31, 2012 at Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle.
Born January 28, 1929 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late Roy C. and Velma H. Day Shoape and the widow of Harry E. Shadle, Sr.
Romaine was a member of the Church of God faith.
Surviving are one daughter, Beverly Britcher (and husband, Donald) of Carlisle; two grandsons, Shane Britcher and Shawn Britcher (and wife, Cathryn); one step-son, Harry E. Shadle, Jr. (and wife Regina) of Ft. Myers, FL; and three great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Phyllis Kistler of Carlisle and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clair Beam. Also preceded in death by a step-daughter, Pamela Ross.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2013 at Westminster Memorial Gardens, 1159 Newville Road, Carlisle, with Rev. D. Alan Mathna officiating.
