Rodney F. Wolf, 65, of Carlisle, formerly of Broomall, Pa, died Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at M. S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born March 3, 1949 in Philadelphia, a son of the late R. F. Lee & Mary Finkenbinder Wolf.
He was a graduate of Upper Darby High School in 1967 and Penn State University with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Agronomy in 1971. Rodney had a successful career in the insurance business but he always loved the farms in the country. He was an avid sportsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and spending time outdoors. Rodney was a former member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, Drexel Hill.
Surviving are his wife of thirteen years, Asonia H. McAllen Wolf; one daughter, Erica Parker (husband, Russell) of Virginia; two granddaughters, Ashley and Charlotte Parker; three step-children: Lisa Campbell, John McAllen (wife, Traci) and Aissa Miller (husband, Terry) all of Carlisle; one brother, Barrie Wolf (wife, Anita) of Virginia; six step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; and one nephew, Jesse Wolf of North Carolina.
Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Middlesex United Methodist Church, 118 North Middlesex Road, Carlisle with Rev. Jan F. Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Salem Stone Church, Carlisle. Viewing will be private and at the convenience of the family.
