Roberta H. Weiser

Roberta H. Weiser, 79, of Carlisle died Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Forest Park Health Center and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.
Born June 17, 1935 in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Helen Wilson Hollar and the widow of Harold Weiser.
She was a member of the former Allison United Methodist Church. She loved painting ceramics, butterflies, puzzles and family get-togethers. Bertie will be remembered as a loving, caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was formerly employed as a housekeeper at Carlisle Courthouse and Carlisle Barracks.
Surviving are one son, Cloyd Barrick, Jr. (and wife, Sandra) of Carlisle; five daughters, Patricia Berry (and significant other, Steve Brown) of Shippensburg, Cheryl Dryden (and husband, Greg) of Poquoson, VA; Dianna Barrick (and wife, Lynne McLaughlin) of Fredericksburg, VA, Debra Keppley (and husband, Frederick) of Carlisle and Caroline Wahler (and husband, John) of Irving, TX; five sisters, Olive Horner of Camp Hill, Ruth Hollar of Zephyrhill, FL, Judy Hair (and husband, Richard) of Shermans Dale, Maxine Baish of Carlisle, and Esther Brandt of Carlisle; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Hollar and two sisters, Dorothy Foster and Edna Nace.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Mira Hewlett officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
