Robert Wisotzkey

Robert R. “Bob” Wisotzkey, 85, of Carlisle, died Monday, September 9, 2024 at UPMC Carlisle.

Born in Carlisle, he was the son of the late Sarah M. (Albright) Wisotzkey and husband of the late Betty (Woodrow) Wisotzkey.

Bob served in the US Air Force. After serving, he worked at Letterkenny Army Depot then worked for over 30 years as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. He retired working at Carlisle Beverage.

He enjoyed guns, trap-shooting and hunting and was a longtime member of Carlisle Fish & Game Assoc. and Carlisle Fire and Rescue # 45 and lifetime member of Carlisle Elks Lodge # 578.

Bob is survived by his sister: Dolores Rayment, her husband, Donald, his niece: Adrienne Spirt-Jones, her husband, Richard and his nephew: Brian Spirt, his wife, Tomi-Lyn, all of Maryland.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service 5:00 pm Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, where the family will greet guests after 4:00 pm prior to the service. Interment will be held privately.
