Robert W. Slusser, Jr.

Robert W. Slusser Jr. age 74, of Carlisle died on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 in Cumberland Crossing with his family at his side. He was born in Carlisle on February 11, 1947 to the late Robert W. and Ann Elizabeth Boose Slusser Sr.
You may remember Bob from the former AMP Inc. where he was a Logistic Manager and worked at the Carlisle High School as a Hall Monitor. He also had worked for the PA Dept. of Education as a purchasing agent. Bob honorably served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict attaining the rank of Sargent Bob was a graduate of Carlisle High School where he was a three sport athlete during high school. He was a former member of the First United Methodist Church now Carlisle United Methodist and the Carlisle Jaycee’s. Bob enjoyed NASCAR and Sprint Car racing. But most of all he enjoyed attending his granddaughter’s softball games. He is survived by his loving wife Cynthia Hoch Slusser, Carlisle son, Justin S.(wife Nicole), his daughter, Dawn S. McCreary (husband Tim) and their children, Elizabeth Michele and James Michael McCreary.
Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 12:30 PM in the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Rd. Carlisle with the Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. There will be a visitation at the funeral home Tuesday from 11:00 AM until time of services. Inurnment will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with military honors being provided by Andrews Air Force Base.
