Robert Paul Arbott

Robert Paul Arbott, 82, of Carlisle, died on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at his residence with his loving wife and daughter by his side. He was born November 30, 1936 in New Kensington PA to the late Peter Paul and Catherine (Kregiel) Arbott.
Robert was a former salesman for Men’s Warehouse at the Capitol City Mall in Camp Hill. He loved his job of dressing people and having conversations with all whom he met. He always wanted to make people smile and laugh by his stories and jokes. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Carlisle. Robert enjoyed spending time with his two kitty grandkids – Thor and Ziggy.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Marie Hannagan Arbott of Carlisle and his daughters; Robbie Jean Arbott and her fiancé Chris Newhard of Philadelphia, PA., Toni Arbott Long and Marcia Arbott Walker both of Myrtle Beach, SC and a son, Donald Arbott also of Myrtle Beach, SC., a sister Nancy Baron of San Jose, CA and two grandchildren, Deven Arbott and Kala Long Landrum.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 87 Marsh Dr., Carlisle PA. with Father Donald H. Bender as Celebrant. There will be a viewing at the Church from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass. Interment will be in the St. Patrick Catholic Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials in Robert’s name be made to the Third Century Fund at St. Patrick Catholic Shrine Church 152 E. Pomfret St. Carlisle, PA 17013 or to the American Cancer Society 125 Lucy Ave., Hummelstown, PA 17036.
