Robert S. Milne Jr, age 68 of Carlisle, passed away at home on November 11, 2024, with his wife by his side.
Robert was born in Bryn Mawr, PA to the late Robert S. and Barbara J. (Anderson) Milne. He attended Springfield High School in Delaware County, PA, followed by undergraduate studies at Clarion University and graduate studies at University of Pittsburgh for his MBA.
Rob, a CPA, retired from Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) after working his entire career in accounting and finance for Coca Cola Bottling and Ryder Transportation Services. He loved to travel and shared many amazing trips with his close friends and wife Terri. His true passion was watch collecting and over the last decade he traveled to many international watch events and manufacturing facilities. He was also a life-long commercial aviation enthusiast after learning to fly at age 16 with the Civil Air Patrol.
Rob is survived by his wife Terri Milne of Carlisle, PA, and their dog Norman; sister-in-law Katrina Davis (Tom), brothers-in-law Rev. Dr. Jeffrey McCleary, Donald Davis, and David Davis (Kelly); nieces and nephews: Emma (Brett), Holly (Dino), Scott (Auriel), Justine (Nate), Kendra (Thor), Kathy, and Calvin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Wendy Milne McCleary.
Rob was a beloved husband, devoted dog dad, and “the fun” (and generous) uncle who dearly loved his friends and family.
Services will be held on November 24th at 11:00am at The Barn at Creek’s Bend, 29 S. Middlesex Rd, Carlisle, PA 17015. Lunch reception to follow.
