Robert Lee "Bob" Bentz

Robert Lee “Bob” Bentz, 79, of Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Manor Care Health Services – Carlisle.
He was born March 4, 1939 in Thurmont, MD to the late Allen and Emma (Stradh) Bentz.
Robert was formerly employed by Taneytown Shoe, Colonial Shoe, Westminster Shoe, Aristokraft Cabinets, cooked at Schotties and delivered the Hanover Evening Sun for many years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Sandra Louise (Rhoades) Bentz; five children, Jeff Bentz, Ronald Bentz, Shawn Walker, Penny Moser and Bobbie Jo Humphreys; three step-children, Lisa Low, Michael Wolf II and Christine Wolf; two sisters, Anna Breake and his twin Roberta Isbel; 25 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Mae (Wilson) Bentz; one daughter, Robin Davis and three brothers, Richard, Donald and Bernie Bentz.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013.
