Robert L. Morrison, Jr.

Robert L. Morrison, Jr, age 57, of Carlisle, PA passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2022, at UPMC Carlisle. He was born September 15, 1965, in Carlisle to the late Robert L. Morrison, Jr. and Ruby I (Reeder) Gehr.

Robert served his country in the United States Marine Corps for six years. He was formally employed for 14.5 years with Bimbo Bakeries USA in Carlisle and had previously worked for the former Maslands. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 1299, and AmVets Post 274 Carlisle. Robert will always be remembered as happy go lucky guy who enjoyed telling stories and making people laugh and spending time with his family and friends. Robert also enjoyed NASCAR, football, playing scratch off lottery tickets and spending time in the outdoors

He is survived by his sister Elizabeth Reed and her husband Todd of Carlisle; nieces Heather Motter of Carlisle and Cheyenne Campbell and her husband Billy of Walnut Bottom; nephew TJ Reed of Carlisle; great nieces and nephews Julian and Maclin Hildabrand, Charleigh Burchfield and Zayne and Piper Jo Campbell. Robert is also survived by his cousins Rich Morrison and his fiancé Pam and Deb Whisler and her husband Mike. He was preceded in death by his stepmother Alice S. (Miller) Morrison. 

A memorial service will be held at 7:00PM on Monday, October 3, 2022, at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Rd., Carlisle, PA 17013. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00PM until service time.
