Robert J. Gray Jr.

Robert J. Gray Jr., 53, of Boiling Springs, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 6, 2019.
He was born June 15, 1966 in Schuykill County to the late Robert J. Sr. and Mary Ann (Bartashus) Gray.
Robert honorably served his country as a doctor in the US Army. He was formerly employed by Concentra Urgent Care for many years before taking his current position with VOHRA, where he served local nursing homes as a wound specialist. In his free time Robert loved being outdoors, especially hiking and riding motorcycle.
He is survived by two sons, Joshua R. Gray and Joseph T. (wife Taylor) Gray both of Shippensburg; two sisters, Pamela (husband Kevin) Bonk of Aspers and Kimberly (husband Joseph) Mashack of Frackville; his ex-wife, Lori A. (husband Dana) Gossert of Carlisle; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation celebrating Robert’s life will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 16, 2019 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Indiantown Gap Road Annville, PA 17003.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The National Wildlife Federation, P.O. Box 1583 Merrifield, VA 22116-1583.
