Robert J. "Bob" Farrell

Robert J. “Bob” Farrell, of Carlisle, died Wednesday evening, August 8, 2018 at UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle Hospital with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Portsmouth, VA on July 4, 1947 to the late Robert George and Jane Elizabeth (Pope) Farrell.
Bob was a former employee of the Weis grocery store in Carlisle, he honorable served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam conflict, and was a member of the Carlisle American Legion Post #101 and the Carlisle Moose Lodge.
He is survived by a son, Robert J. Long of Fremont, NC; two sisters, Terry R. Wilson and Elizabeth C. Kidd, both of Carlisle; one brother, Edward C. Farrell of Winchester, VA.
At Bob’s request there will be no services, and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Rd, Carlisle, PA.
