Robert “Henry” Kochenour, 61, of Lewisberry, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital with his loving wife by his side.
He was born July 9, 1957 in Harrisburg to the late Robert and Bernice Kochenour.
Henry worked for New England Motor Freight (NEMF) as a truck driver. He enjoyed boating at Raystown Lake and spending time with his “H Dock” family. He had a passion for hunting, motorcycles, and working with his son to restore his Mustang. He was an avid lifelong fan of the Seahawks. He was a member of The White Circle, Moose Lodge 761, Fraternal Order of Eagles Airee #1299, all of Carlisle, American Legion Post #26, VFW Post #6771, both of Dillsburg, and the NRA. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and “Pebbles” his cockatoo.
Henry is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Lisa (Kauffman) Kochenour; son, Jason and significant other, Julie Yinger; his sister, Diane; and nephew Jeremy and his wife Ellen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Deb and Denise.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Henry’s name to Vickie’s Angel Foundation.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Don Snyder officiating. Burial will follow at Waggoners United Methodist Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
