Robert E. Lininger

Robert E. Lininger, 68, of Carlisle died on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at his residence with his loving family at his side. He was born in Chambersburg, PA on June 23, 1951 to the late George and Mary Burrall Lininger.
Bob had been employed by the Carlisle Tire and Rubber for many years and then had worked for Super Valu Warehouse in Harrisburg, PA.
He was an avid New England Patriots Fan and had visited the stadium with his wife in Foxborough, MA. Bob loved watching the History Channel, traveling to the New England States, and listening to “Led Zeplin and AC/DC”.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 yrs. Erma Buchenauer Lininger of Carlisle, son, Chad R. (Michelle) Lininger, daughter, Mistie D. (Brian) Reichenbach both of Carlisle. Three brothers; Ronald (Kim) Lininger, Gerald (Brenda) Lininger and Mike Lininger all of Chambersburg, PA. His sister Janet Bittinger of Key West, Fl, six grandchildren; Delsea and Seth Cvijic, Kiley and Aiden Lininger, Xavier and Maleki Reichenbach. He was preceded by three sisters; Louise, Jennie Lininger and Nancy Wagner and his brother Dick Lininger.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will no viewing or visitation.
In lieu of flower the family requests the memorial in “Bob’s” name be made to the American Cancer Society PO Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013.
