Robert E. "Bob" Arnold

Robert E. "Bob" Arnold, age 63, of Newville, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at his home.
He was born September 7, 1952 in Kimball, NE to Phyllis (Tridle) Hoch of Carlisle and the late Eugene F. Arnold.
Bob was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He moved to Central PA in 1969 from Wyoming and worked in management for C.H. Masland & Sons/Lear Corp., retiring after 32 years. He was President of Carlisle Country Market and was the owner/operator of Arnold's Candy. Bob enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Robert is survived by his five siblings, Linda "Lin" (and husband Donald) Frey of Newville, William F. Arnold of Gardners, Susan Spidle of Carlisle, Cathy (and husband Steven) Calaman of Carlisle and Tea Arnold of Tempe, AZ.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be a visitation from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home.
