Robert Donald Bowermaster, 62, of White Bluff, Tenn., formerly of Carlisle, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011, at Baptist Hospital, Nashville, Tenn.
Born March 26, 1949, in Carlisle, he was the son of the late James E. and Martha J. Good Bowermaster.
He worked as a surveyor and site supervisor for several contractors building nuclear power plants and hospitals nationwide.
Spending time with his grandchildren was his greatest joy. His sense of humor and positive attitude were an inspiration to friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Hayden Bowermaster; two sons, Robert D Bowermaster II and his wife Melissa of Florida and Kirstan K Bowermaster and his wife Treva of Tennessee; a daughter, Kiya Bowermaster of Tennessee; two brothers, David Bowermaster and his wife Nancy of Florida and Ronald Bowermaster and his wife Anita of Carlisle; four sisters, Jan Verow and her husband Ted of Carlisle, Donna Morrow and her husband Brian of Carlisle, Sonja Chestnut and her husband Gary of Newville and Jayne Jones and her husband David of Carlisle; three grandchildren, Robert D. Bowermaster III, Noah K. Bowermaster and Kendra Fruh; three stepchildren, Lanissa Finney, Candrea Byers and Randy Santore; six step-grandchildren; and one great-grandson, Kale R Fruh.
Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Spann Funeral Home in Dickson, Tenn.
