Robbie J. Gochenauer

Robbie J. Gochenauer, 56, of Blain, passed away on the morning of Saturday, October 2, 2021, at UPMC, Carlisle.

He was born in Toul, France, while his father served in the United States Army.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Grace. E. Daihl-Gochenauer of Shippensburg, PA; his adoring mother Magdalena Martin Gochenauer of Landisville, PA; his sister Cindy Gochenauer Buohl & husband Raymond, and their son, Brandon R. Buohl and great nephew, Jaxson A. Buohl; and his sister Franchesca Gochenauer. Rob is also survived by his dog Sandy, his beloved and devoted companion.

He was preceded in death by his father, John R. "Gook" Gochenauer and grandfather, Paul L. Gochenauer.

Robbie worked as a machine operator for years and was an avid hunter. He loved the mountain and was happiest at his family's cabin.

A private service with his family is to be announced, and any memorial contributions can be made to: The National Rifle Association or any hunting club.
