Rita I. Lattanzio, age 76, of Mt. Holly Springs, formerly of Sayreville, NJ, went home to be with the Lord after fighting a very courageous battle on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle, PA.
She was born on October 6, 1938 in Perth Amboy, NJ to the late Louis Anton and Isabelle Catherine Cseve Dugasz.
Rita was formerly employed by the White-Westinghouse Corporation as an assembler at their plant on Route 27 in Edison, NJ for over 25 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Sayreville, NJ. Mom was a very avid cook and reader, but most of all, she enjoyed the time she spent with her loving family at all of the local and national modified car racing tracks.
Rita is survived by her husband of 53 years, Howard C. Lattanzio of Mt. Holly Springs, PA; a son, Peter H. Lattanzio and his wife Donna Buchicchio of Mechanicsburg, PA; and a daughter, Lisa A. (and husband Richard) Gross of North East, PA. Also surviving is a brother-in-law, William Geis; her niece, Lucy (and husband Howard) Townsend and their four children, Stephanie and William Wexler and Megan and Laura Townsend.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 85 Marsh Drive, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Don Bender officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation. Interment will be private.
