Richard W. Dutrey

Richard W. Dutrey, 86, of Carlisle, died Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born June 4, 1927 in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late Paul and Elizabeth Kost Dutrey.
He was a graduate of Carlisle High School, Class of 1945. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from Gettysburg College in Business Administration. He was the previous owner/operator of Dutrey's Shoes, Carlisle. He was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Cumberland County Historical Society, the Union Fire Company of Carlisle, and a board member of the Cumberland County Municipal Authority.
Surviving are his wife of sixty-four years, Marjorie Dutrey of Carlisle; one son, John Dutrey (and wife, Lynne) of Carlisle; one daughter, Mary Anne Thewlis (and husband, Joe) of Carlisle; five grandchildren, Eric Lybrand, Carl Lybrand, Andrea Dutrey McCloskey, Michael Dutrey and Robert Dutrey; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Dutrey.
Graveside services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle.
