Richard Leon Neil

Richard Leon Neil, age 68, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 surrounded by his family.
He was born in Willow Hill on July 22, 1947 to the late Amos Merle and Mary Catherine Flemming Neil.
Richard studied criminal justice at Penn State University and computer programming at Computer Learning Network in Mechanicsburg. He formerly worked as a Pollution Control High Line Lineman for Petronol Company, Inc. Richard was the owner/operator of B & G Controlled Maintenance for over 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Mellott Neil of Carlisle; a daughter, Jessica (and husband Quay) Anderson of Carlisle; four sons, Jason Neil, Jacob (and wife Cherish) Neil, Jared Neil and Justin Neil, all of Carlisle; and seven grandchildren.
In accordance with Richard's wishes, there will be no service or viewing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033.
