Richard Hayes Roach

Richard Hayes Roach, 71, of Carlisle went to be with his Lord on March 22, 2011 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center after a long and courageous battle with his illness.
Born March 21, 1940 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Albert F., Jr. and Dorothy Hayes Roach.
He received an accounting degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 1299, Carlisle. He was a member of The Order Of DeMolay. Richard was a NASCAR and Steelers fan. Richard was known as the “tax man” in Carlisle. Also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his youth.
Surviving are his daughter, Richelle Hey (and husband, Brain) of Sarasota, FL, his grandson, Aidan Hey of Sarasota, FL and his fiancée, Judy Rudd of Carlisle.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Robert P. Knight officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
