Renelle L. Brown, 77, of Carlisle, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born November 8, 1935 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Hazel Baker McBride.
She was a graduate of Carlisle High School. She was employed by the Carlisle Pike Sheetz as a coffee hostess and also employed by the Sunny Side Restaurant as a waitress. Renelle was a member of Allison United Methodist Church, Carlisle. She enjoyed crocheting, plaster craft, gardening, and painting ceramics.
Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Charles Brown of Carlisle; two daughters, Stephanie Kauffman (and husband, Tony) of Carlisle and Jean Traux (and husband, Mike) of Kentucky; one son, Steven Cordle (and wife Debbie) of Carlisle; five step-children, Catherine Ann Fatherlee of Carlisle, Charles William Brown of California, Elizabeth Hope Richwine of Carlisle, Jennifer Mae Spangler of Boiling Springs, and Susan Gray of Carlisle; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Brozenick and one daughter, Barbara Walsh.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Jan E. Custer officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
