Raymond L. Brenizer Jr., 54, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019 in his home.
He was born August 8, 1964 in Carlisle to Loveda A. (Mott) Brenizer of Carlisle and the late Raymond L. Brenizer Sr.
Ray was a 1982 graduate of Carlisle High School and later earned his certification as a Cardio Vascular Technician from HACC. He was formerly employed by CH Masland & Sons / Lear where he was the Vice President of the labor union. Raymond later worked as a dock worker at ABF and was a member of the Teamsters union. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, reminiscing with friends and working on cars with his son. Raymond was a member of the White Circle Club and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1299 both in Carlisle.
In addition to his mother, Ray is survived by his wife, Julie Ann Brenizer of Bloserville; three children, Kimberly S. (husband Collin) Rosenberger of Carlisle, Raymond L. Brenizer III of Carlisle, and Brianna E. Brenizer of Bloserville; one granddaughter, Harper Ann Rosenberger; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his best friend, Maynard. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Lynn “Nan” Brenizer.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m on Monday, April 15, 2019 at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013 with Pastor Kevin Dunlap officiating. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. A viewing will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service Monday, both at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, Capital Region Division, 1019 Mumma Road Wormleysburg, PA 17043.
