Rachael E. Lang

Miss Rachael E. Lang passed away peacefully at Spirit Trust Nursing Home in York on Nov. 25, 2024. She was the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Robert L. Lang, and she was born on Nov. 9, 1930 at Harrisburg Hospital. Rachael was a retired RN. She graduated from Lucy Webb Hayes School of Nursing at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington D.C. She was a long time resident of Carlisle and was previously employed as Visiting Nurse at the Carlisle Hospital, The Church of God Nursing Home, and the Sarah Todd Nursing Home. The burial will be private at Evergreen Cemetery in Gettysburg. She is survived by her nieces, Dr. Kathie Lang and her husband James Ballard, Connie Harvey and her husband James, and Rebecca Colpo.
