Phyllis Heiges

 Phyllis Jean Heiges, 80, of York, passed away on April 21st, 2025, at UPMC York Memorial Hospital. Born on January 17th, 1945, in Carlisle, Phyllis is the daughter of the late Samuel D. and Pauline  Hoover.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Teri Conklin (Don) of York, daughter, Tina Otto (Jim) of Mount Holly, son, Kevin Hockenberry (Catherine) of Carlisle, daughter, Lisa Heiges of Mount Holly, son, Troy Heiges (Terri) of Davidson, NC, her brothers, Donald Hoover (Charlotte) of Shippensburg, and William Hoover (Jo) of Boiling Springs, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer "Sonny" Heiges, sister, Iva Wolf, and one granddaughter.

Phyllis owned the Printed Image print shop in Carlisle. She enjoyed old western TV shows and movies, especially Bat Masterson. She also loved "Murder She Wrote."  She enjoyed reading and doing puzzles. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p,m., at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, 2020 W. Trindle Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013.

Interment will be held immediately following services at Westminster Cemetery, 1159 Newville Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013.
