Phillip C. "Phill" Reel

Phillip C. “Phill” Reel, age 28, of Newville, passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 8, 2017.
He was born June 7, 1989 (6-7-89) in New Haven, CT to John and Deborah (Focht) Reel of Newville.
Phill attended Harrisburg University majoring in Geospatial studies. He loved technology and enjoyed working with computers. He enjoyed history and research, hiking and studying the Bible. Stories such as Star Wars and Lord of the Rings drew Phill’s heart toward the Lord, because they were an epic battle between good and evil that he could embrace and connect with.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by: two sisters, Christie (husband Adam) Mastin and Anna Reel; a brother, Samuel Reel; three aunts, Natalie Bush, Diana Focht and Amy (husband Brian) Gross; three uncles, Pat Bobby, Mark (wife Deanna “Diana”) Focht and Michael (wife Heather) Focht; grandmothers, Mary Margaret Reel and Margie Focht; thirteen cousins, Matthew, Mitchell, Joshua, Elisha, Josiah, Gabriel, Caleb, Abby, Hannah, Moriah, Billy, Chris and Ryan; two nieces, Selah and Aurellia; and a nephew, Liam. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charles R. Reel and Charles E. Focht.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at New Life Community Church, 64 E. North Street, Carlisle, PA with Pastor Ryan Brown officiating. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Life Community Church, 64 E. North Street, Carlisle, PA 17013.
