Peter John Merisotis

Peter John Merisotis, 53, of Carlisle went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at his brother’s residence.

Born on August 31, 1965, he was the son of the late George and Grace (Baker) Merisotis.

Peter was the owner of George’s Subs and Pizza in Carlisle. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy from 1984 – 1986. Peter was a friend to many. He was kind and giving and had a heart of gold. He was blessed to have been visited by many friends prior to his passing. Peter had faith and trust in Jesus Christ for his salvation and is at rest in the kingdom of heaven free from pain and suffering.

He is survived by his brother, Ernie Merisotis and wife Natalie of Dallastown, PA; daughters, Mandy Merisotis and Sadie Nevius; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 11:00 am at Grace Baptist Church, 777 W. North St., Carlisle, PA with Pastor John Miller officiating. Interment will be at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. There will be a viewing at the church on Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
