Pauline E. Jacoby

Pauline E. Jacoby, 93, of Carlisle died Sunday, December 9, 2012 at her home.
Born July 5, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Viola C. H. Hartman Smee and the widow of Walter Jacoby.
She received a Bachelor’s Degree from Lebanon Valley College. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and Sunday School, Carlisle. She was also a member of the Bell Choir of Cumberland Crossings.
Surviving are one son, Vice Admiral (Ret.) Lowell E. Jacoby (and wife, Celia) of Alexandria, VA; two daughters, Wanda J. Lord-Steele of Centreville, VA and Sophie J. Kowzun (and husband, Pete) of Fulton, MD; one sister, Esther Chronister of Boiling Springs; five grandchildren, Brian, Kevin, Jim, Jaime (and husband, Jeremy), Ashley (and husband, Ray); and two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Bryce.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Otterbein United Methodist Church, 647 Forge Road, Carlisle with Rev. Daniel Dennis officiating. Burial will take place at 1:30 p.m., in Longsdorf Cemetery, New Kingstown. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the church.
