Paul R. Boyer

Paul R. Boyer, age 74, of Carlisle and formerly of Altoona, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Forest Park Nursing Center, Carlisle.
He was born May 5, 1942 in Altoona, PA to the late Willard E. and Doris R. (Lindemer) Boyer.
Paul was a 1961 graduate of Altoona High School and received his Associate's degree from Williamsport Community College. He went to work for Westinghouse and stayed there after they were bought by Siemens. He retired from the Lester Plant in Philadelphia after 33 years. Paul was a member of the Meeting House (formerly Brethren in Christ) of Carlisle.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Margaret M. "Peggy" Stewart Boyer of Carlisle; and two brothers, Robert V. Boyer of Ebensburg, PA and Willard C. Boyer of Altoona, PA.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the Henry Memorial Chapel at Chapel Pointe, 770 S. Hanover Street, Carlisle PA with Rev. Walter Frankenberry officiating. Private interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Altoona. There will be a visitation at the Chapel on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
