Paul N. Detrick

Paul N. Detrick, age 80, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at UPMC Harrisburg. He was born May 13, 1943, in Sayre, PA to the late Frank and Martha (Benson) Detrick.

Paul retired as a Lieutenant with the Camp Hill Prison after over 30 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed traveling to Disney World and taking Disney Cruises. Paul was an avid Green Bay Packers, Penn State and Nascar fan, especially following his favorite Nascar drivers Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt. He was also past President and Secretary of the former Carlisle Nascar Club.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Susan G. (Saylor) Detrick; daughter Jennifer Boies and her husband Tony of Durham, NC and son Johnathan Detrick and his husband Brad of Mechanicsburg, PA. Paul is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held for Paul at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Rd., Carlisle, PA 17013.
