Paul Arthur "Bay" Laney

Paul Arthur Laney, age 42, of Harrisburg, PA died on Thursday, July 2, 2020 in Carlisle, PA.
Paul Arthur Laney, the son of the late Willie L. Laney Sr. and Doreene A. Beaston Laney was born on August 30, 1977 in Carlisle, PA and entered into rest on July 2, 2020.
Paul grew up in Carlisle, PA and attended Carlisle area schools. He was a manager at Five Guy’s Burgers and Fries in Mechanicsburg where he worked for seven years. He loved music, was an aspiring rap artist and Tupac Shakur’s number one fan. He will always be remembered for speaking his mind, caring for and protecting his family but what Paul is probably known most for is loving his family and being a loyal friend.
Paul was in a committed relationship of seven years with Jasmyn Lloyd, who he loved very much and together they were raising three beautiful children, Jelani Michael (age 6), Jamari Arthur (age 2), and Jakari W. Laney (age 10 months).
In addition to Jasmyn and their children, he will be greatly missed by his mother Doreene A. Laney, a sister Shirley A. Laney of Laurel, MD, two brothers, Willie L. (wife Jenel) of Gaithersburg, MD, and Tyrone T. Laney of Los Angelos, CA, two nieces, Meadow R. and Saniah J. Laney and two nephews, Jaylon L. and Jacob A. Laney and a host of relatives and friends--too many to list by name.
Paul joins in heaven his father Willie L. Laney Sr., grandparents Paul & Phyllis Beaston and Arthur & Annie Laney and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Paul’s family and friends will always keep him in their hearts.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 12:00 Noon in the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory 2020 West Trindle Rd. Carlisle, PA with The Rev. James Woodall Officiating. There will be a viewing on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of his family.
