Patsy A. Mentzer

Patsy A. Mentzer 78, passed away on November 2, 2022 in Newville, PA. she was born April 22, 1944 in Shippensburg, PA daughter of Roy and Ruth Nenninger (Farner).

Patsy was a homemaker who also worked various jobs before her retirement. She took care of her family and enjoyed antiques, gardening, and traveling. She will be remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Patsy is survived by her son Eric Plasterer (Michelle), her daughter Angela Effland (Ronald), her sister Ruth Ann Koser (Delbert)and her brothers Ned and Donald Nenninger. Patsy is also survived by her grandchildren Troy, Trevor, Benjamin and Luke, and her great grandchildren Atticus and Reagan.

She was preceded in death by her husband Galen Mentzer, her sister Louise Hutchinson, and grandson Elijah Plasterer.

A Celebration of Life Service in honor of Patsy will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory 2020 W. Trindle Rd Carlisle, PA 17013 with a visitation for family and friends held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. A Committal and Burial service will take place immediately following the service at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Boiling Springs, PA.
