Patrick William Dechene

Patrick William Dechene, 45 of Hummelstown, died Sunday, August 4, 2013 in Hershey Medical Center.
Born July 13, 1968 in Carlisle, he was the son of William Arthur and Marianne Sauliner Dechene, Jr. of Newburg.
He graduated from Big Spring High School. He went into the Army, where he was an engineer Corp. He also attended Empire Beauty School and made it his life long career with Salon Dechene in Hummelstown.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Dechene is survived by a daughter, Eilene Dechene of Mechanicsburg; two sisters, Catherine (husband, Emory) Johnson of Newville and Paula (husband, Larry) Diehl of Newburg; two nieces, Angela Johnson (husband, Cody) Eshenour of Shippensburg and Olivia Dechene of Newville; two nephews, Austin Diehl of Newburg and Owen Dechene of Newville and a grand-nephew, Andrew Eshenour. He was preceded in death by an infant son and a brother, Roger.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 9, 2013 at Our Lady of Visitation Catholic Church, 305 North Prince Street, Shippensburg with Rev. David A. Hillier as celebrant. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle, Carlisle.
