Patrick Riley

Patrick Edward Riley, 73, of Carlisle, died Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at his home.
Born February 19, 1938 in Waterville, ME, he was a son of the late Ernald E. and Sadie F. Pullen Riley.
He received a BS Degree from Boston University and a Masters Degree from FIT. Patrick retired as a Colonel from the US Army after 28 years. Patrick was a professor of military science for three years at Gettysburg College. He spent five years at Dickinson College as an administrative officer.
Surviving are his wife of fifty two years, Joan Kelso Riley of Carlisle; one daughter, Susan Miller (and husband, James) of White Haven; one son, Patrick Edward Riley III of Gettysburg; one brother, James Riley of Georgetown, ME; and two grandchildren, Kelso James Riley and Austin Edward Riley.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the US Army War College Memorial Chapel, Carlisle PA with Rev. Timothy D. Wheeler officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
