Patricia K. "Patty" Shearer

Patricia K. (Patty) Shearer, age 59, of Camp Hill, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in the Harrisburg Hospital.
She was born in Carlisle on July 16, 1955 to Paul and Violet Dell Myers of Carlisle.
Patricia worked for the Book of the Month Club and also worked for the West Shore School District in the cafeteria and as a school crossing guard. She was a member of the Carlisle United Methodist Church. Patricia liked to collect lighthouse memorabilia. She loved animals and was a beach lover and was especially fond of Ocean City MD and Bethany Beach, DE. Patty was always known for being a cheerful person.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, is her husband of 29 years, Steven Shearer of Camp Hill; a daughter Brittani Shearer, also of Camp Hill; a brother, Robert Myers and his wife Susan of Carlisle; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Ryan Shearer.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home and Crematory, 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. George Spangler officiating. Burial will be at Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill. A viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, February 22 at the funeral home and also from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
