Olive Irene Miller

Olive Irene Miller age 94, of Carlisle, passed away on March 15, 2025, at Chapel Pointe. She was born on February 20, 1931, in Falls Creek, PA the daughter of the late Clarence and Irene (Smith) Benninger.

Olive graduated from Falls Creek High School May 25th, 1948. She worked for the local bakery and the Gray Printing Company of Falls Creek, and in later years the Pramco Blouse Factory in Punxsutawney and the Bell Telephone company in DuBois, from which she retired. She was active in CMA Churches and often served as the pianist and organist.

She is survived by 4 nieces and several great nephews and a great niece and even great greats. She was a very special Aunt who will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband John R.I. Miller in December 2025 whom she was married to for 72 years and two brothers: Sonny and Donald.

Services are entrusted to Hoffman Funeral Home 2020 W. Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013. Private interment will be in Beechwoods Cemetery Falls Creek, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to Henry Chapel, Chapel Pointe 770 South Hanover Street, Carlisle, PA 17013.
