Olive Bolinger, age 85, of Carlisle, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the Church of God Home, Carlisle.
She was born February 14, 1932 in Wood, PA to the late Harry and Mary (Birosh) Poleck and was the widow of Ronald Bolinger and her second husband, Edward Glass.
Olive was passionate with keeping a clean house and tidy yard. She loved singing in the church choir and her faith was very important to her.
She is survived by: her son, Douglas Bolinger; her daughter, Joyce (and husband Paul) Stone; sisters, Nancy Bolinger and Madeline Mervosh; four grandchildren, Jennifer Young, Jason Young, Alivia Bolinger and Garrett Bolinger; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husbands, Olive was preceded in death by three brothers, Wasco, Peter and Michael Poleck.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Chaplain Bradley Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Cemetery. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
