Nicholas G. Instasi, Jr.

Nicholas G. “Nick” Instasi, Jr., 48, of Mechanicsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 18, 2023.

He was born March 8, 1975, in Marshfield, MA to Karen T. (Pongonis) Instasi (companion John Calon) of Duxbury, MA and the late Nicholas G. Instasi, Sr. who passed in August of 1975.

Nick was a fun-loving guy with a big personality that wasn’t easy to forget. He was a 1993 graduate of Duxbury High School in Duxbury, MA. Nick later attended and graduated from ITT Tech with a degree in graphic design. In 2004, along with his business partner Pete, Nick started On All Floors. The company has grown over the years and is still operating today. Nick was a big fan of all Boston sports teams, the Bruins, the Patriots, the Celtics, and the Red Sox. He also enjoyed watching Harrisburg Senators games and was very proud to have installed the custom carpet in their locker room. Nick liked golfing, bowling, all muscle cars, and traveling. Some of Nick’s favorite trips were the yearly trips he took to Surf Side Beach, SC with his family. He was a member of the Mechanicsburg Club and Eureka-West Shore Lodge No. 302, F & AM. The most important thing to Nick was his relationships with his friends and his family, who he loved more than anything.

Nick is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Alisha N. Instasi of Mechanicsburg; their two children, Nicholas A. Instasi and Lyla R. Instasi; one brother, Kenneth L. (wife Kerry) Hannigan of Scituate, MA; four nieces and nephews, Joey, Addison, Kenny, and Cooper; one brother-in-law, Aaron Pedergnana of Harrisburg; his mother-in-law, Charlene (husband Philip) Cuddy of Harrisburg; and many aunts and uncles.

A viewing will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2023, and from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013. Services officiated by the Very Rev. William C. Forrey will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Nick to M & T Bank, North US Highway 15 Dillsburg, PA 17019 to assist with cost of his children’s future education.
