Ngau Quang

Ngau Quang, of Carlisle, passed away at the home of his daughter on March 8, 2024 at the age of 83. Born September 26, 1940 in Lai Thieu Vietnam, he was the son of the late Toan Quang and Thang Huynh. He was the loving husband of Nu H. Van.

 

Ngau was a veteran of the Southern Vietnam Armed Forces. He worked as a laborer in the restaurant industry while living in Vietnam until his retirement, at which time he immigrated to the United States.

 

Surviving with his wife are four daughters; Mi Quang, Amy Tran, and Hoa Quang, all of Carlisle, along with Ngoc Quang, of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Also surviving is a son Hung Quang of Carlisle, and a sister Hang Quang, of Lai Thieu, Vietnam. Eight grandchildren also survive him. He was preceded in death by three siblings, along with his parents.

 

Traditional Buddhist services will be held Friday, March 15, 2024 at Hoffman Funeral and Cremation, Ltd., 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA 17013 with Buddhist monk Thich Chan Nhan, of the Buddhist Association of Pennsylvania officiating. The family will receive friends the day of the services from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
