Naomi Elaine Miller, 75, of Duncannon, died Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the Harrisburg Hospital.
Born September 11, 1939 in Adams County, she was a daughter of the late Max and Eleanore Long Shreve and the widow of Marlin G. Miller.
She worked in the kitchen of Cumberland Perry VoTech. She was a member of the Methodist faith, enjoyed participating in church activities and studying the Bible. Naomi loved traveling to see family and spending time with friends. She enjoyed arts and crafts, playing the piano and other instruments.
Surviving are two daughters, Loretta Hurley of New Bloomfield and Tammy Scruggs of Virginia; one son, Andrew Kessel of Hanover; brothers and sisters: Art Shreve of Carlisle, Esther Baker of York, Wilmer Shreve, Larry Shreve, Ruth Taylor, Grace Himes, Martha Silick all of Adams County; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers: Sonny, Joe, Junior, Robert, and Richard Shreve.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Churchtown. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
