Mimi A. DeVenney, 66, of Carlisle died Thursday, January 10, 2013 in the Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.
Born March 28, 1946 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Marian Murtoff DeVenney.
She was formerly employed by Vectron, Mt. Holly Springs. Mimi was a 1964 graduate of Carlisle High School. She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carlisle. Mimi was a lifelong animal lover.
Surviving are two brothers, Samuel DeVenney of Hickory, NC and Robert DeVenney (and wife, Sharon) of Carlisle; niece, Arlen DeVenney Nicolls (and husband Jamie) of Greensboro, NC and nephew, Daniel R. DeVenney of Hickory, NC. She was also survived by several cousins.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 21, 2013 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 East High Street, Carlisle with Rev. Charles A. Brophy officiting.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
