Mildred R. Cornman

Mildred R. Cornman, age 91, of Carlisle, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Thornwald Home, Carlisle.
She was born January 27, 1926 in Carlisle to the late Clarence Samuel and Evaline Blanche (Shughart) Hurley and was the widow of Paul Kutz Cornman.
Mildred retired as a clerical supervisor for the PA Department of Welfare. She was a member of: Farm Women Group #4; AARP, Carlisle Chapter, #3378; Order of Eastern Star-Old Bellaire Chapter #375; and Otterbein United Methodist Church.
She is survived by: four sons, Gary P. Cornman, Lester C. (wife Dianne) Cornman, Ronald P. (wife Tawnya) Cornman and Stephen H. (wife Sheila) Cornman; one brother, Wilson P. Hurley; seven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mildred was preceded in death by a sister, Arlene A. Raudabaugh and a grandchild, Jamie Cornman.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Daniel Dennis officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the services.
