Mildred I. Bowermaster

Mildred I. Bowermaster, 92 of Carlisle, died July 30, 2016 in Chapel Pointe at Carlisle.
Born March 6, 1924 in Boiling Springs, a daughter of the late Joseph C. and Ollie Alice Sterner Wise and the widow of Sidney P. Bowermaster.
Mildred was a member of the Carlisle Senior Center. She enjoyed playing games, cards and volleyball.
Surviving are three children, Lee Bowermaster and his wife Faye, Carlisle, Forrest Bowermaster and his wife Pauline, Carlisle and Sue Schock, Carlisle, a sister, Gladys Nardi, Michigan, twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Richard Schock, nine brothers and sisters, one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, with the Rev. Steve P. Motter officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery. There will be a viewing from 11:00 am Wednesday until the time of the service in the funeral home.
