Mildred Alma Lebo, 100, of Carlisle, died Monday, May 14, 2012 at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.
Born December 21, 1911 in Lower Frankford Township, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Clark and Myrtle Miller Thumma and the widow of Herbert R. Lebo.
She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Boiling Springs and a member of Cumberland County Farm Women Group #12.
Surviving are seven daughters, Doris E. Jumper (and husband, Roger) of Mechanicsburg, Betty J. Wertz of Carlisle, Janet M. Brymesser (and husband, Stanley) of Boiling Springs, Carolyn M. Ross (and husband, Vernon) of Camp Hill, Linda K. Trively (and husband, Ed) of Camp Hill, Alice E. Feister of Denver, PA and Sue A. Raffield (and husband, Bradley) of Houston, TX; two sons, James W. Lebo (and wife, Phyllis) of Mechanicsburg and Donald R. Lebo (and wife, Sharon) of Ocala, FL; three sisters, Evelyn Sheaffer of Carlisle, Mary Garman of Carlisle and Romaine Lehman of Mechanicsburg; thirty eight grandchildren; and many great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Marlin C. Lebo and two daughters, Barbara Ann Lebo and Isabelle A. Shumberger, two sons-in-law, Ed Wertz and Jack Shumberger, and one daughter-in-law, Sonja Lebo.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Timothy D. Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in Letort Cemetery, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
