Michael G. Berninger

Michael G. Berninger, 55, of Newville, PA, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at his residence.
He was born February 26, 1965 in Williamsport, PA to David Lee Berninger of Avis, PA and the late Linda Joyce (Rachael) Berninger.
Michael was a graduate of Big Spring High School in the class of 1984. He loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting small game with his beagles were two of his favorite past times. Michael was a music lover who often played the guitar and he was a passionate Philadelphia Phillies fan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Misty Berninger of Newville, PA; one daughter, Amelia Ann Berninger of Carlisle, PA; one brother, David Eric Berninger of Montoursville, PA; one sister, Tami Lyn (husband Allen) Petrus of Watertown, NY; two nieces and three nephews.
A memorial service celebrating Michael’s life will be announced at a later date. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
