Michael D. "Buddy" Kalinak

Michael D. “Buddy” Kalinak, age 83, of Carlisle, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
He was born August 18, 1933 in Coaldale, PA to the late Michael and Frances (Chabola) Kalinak.
Michael is survived by: his wife of 54 years, Michelle M. (Kondertavage) Kalinak of Carlisle; children, Laurie K. (husband Bill) Bodisch of Boiling Springs and Michael J. (wife Natalie) Kalinak of Neshanic Station, NJ; three grandchildren, Addison K. Peters, Matthew W. Kalinak and Samantha W. Kalinak; brother-in-law, Tony (wife Grace) Kondertavage of Lansford; sister-in-law, Deborah Kondertavage (husband Robert) Demyanovich of Coaldale; and nieces and nephews, Devin and Adam Demyanovich, Tony Kondertavage, Valerie Horvat, Amy Machay, Cortney Baltrush and Carre McConnon. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by two sisters, one brother and brother-in-law, John Kondertavage.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at St. Patrick Catholic church, 85 Marsh Drive, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Gregory J. D’Emma officiating. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the animal shelter of your choice.
